You know you are from the midwest if you love the bars!
This is a family recipe, but once again I have tweaked it to my liking. Graham cracker crust, chocolate and butterscotch chips, coconut and pecans are so amazing together! I have yet to meet a dessert recipe that wasn’t better with some sweetened condensed milk. I prefer the mini chocolate chips, as it feels like you have a higher chocolate ratio in each bar. I have used both sweetened and unsweetened coconut – both work. Don’t like pecans? Use another nut!
The bars assemble quickly, cook for a mere 30 minutes and don’t take long to cool. Promise no one will complain if you show up with a pan of these to any event!

1 stick butter, melted
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
